Nick Anderson
I'm very excited to have joined the excellent team of doctors and staff at AMC in October 2010. Over the past 12 years, I've had the pleasure of working with animals of all shapes and sizes in multiple hospitals. During that time, I've worked in almost every position of an animal hospital including kennels, assistant, technician, reception and management. I've spent the last two and half years working with a veterinary management company managing multiple locations both in Illinois and Indiana. I look forward to bringing my veterinary-specific management skills to AMC in an effort to better serve you, the client, and your furry friends. If at any time you have a question, concern, compliment, or comment, feel free to stop by or call me. I look forward to working with you and your pet!

What I like best about AMC: The staff is extremely caring and each person genuinely has the animal's best interest in mind. AMC also provides the best medical care I have seen in the veterinary field.
Favorite AMC Memories: My favorite memories are of the animals we have helped find homes.
Greatest Life Accomplishment(s): I have found a job that I love, continued my education, relocated to be closer to family, traveled and explored and enjoyed the journey along the way. I look forward to new accomplishments every day.

What I like best about AMC: All staff members treat patients as if they were their own, with respect and compassion and the fact that we practice quality preventative medicine.
Favorite AMC Memories: A certain well-known husky who was quite destructive and overly rambunctious as a puppy. The owner got serious with him and our recommendations and that same husky is now one of the most famous training success stories.
Greatest Life Accomplishment(s): Being lucky enough to have chosen a career I truly love and after all of these years still look forward to going to work every day (even though it's a 70 mile commute each way)
Natalie, Veterinary Technician
Brief Education History: B.S. from the University of Mississippi. A.A.S. in Veterinary Technology from Parkland College.

What I like best about AMC: Working with such a great group of smart, dedicated, motivated, and hard-working people. Also, our patients are absolutely our highest priority here.
Favorite AMC memory: When Tara's fractious cat Simon was sedated, but still managed to slap me across the face so hard that it could be heard across the room!
Greatest life Accomplishment(s): So far, hiking the ridgeline of Angel's Landing without chickening out is my greatest accomplishment. Hopefully more are to come!

What I like best about AMC: I enjoy being challenged daily to learn about animal medicine. I am fortunate to work with intelligent people who are willing to share their knowledge. Working with people who share the same love for animals and who genuinely care for their well-being creates a great working environment. And I must also mention my new-found love for the teeniest tiniest little dogs!
Favorite AMC Memories: My newest favorite memory is of "Truman," a 4 lb white Maltese that I cared for briefly in my home. He trained me how to cook for him.
Greatest Life Accomplishment(s): Being healthy and truly happy in my marriage and my career choice.

Favorite AMC Memories: Stray animals seem to find me and my husband(cats, dogs, wounded birds, a chicken loose on the streets of Chicago, etc). My favorite memories have been finding homes or rehabilitation for these animals. Dr. Solomon and my coworkers are great about providing care and finding homes…. even the chicken.
