From left to right: Dr. Tim England, Dr. Pamela Janik, Dr. Django Martel, Dr. Donna Solomon
Donna Solomon, DVM
Brief Education History: College of Veterinary Medicine, Michigan State University 1986
Joined AMC: Founded AMC May 1990
What I Like Best About AMC: Working with a dedicated, compassionate and intelligent staff, and having a great clientele that appreciates the care that we provide. Even after practicing veterinary medicine for 23 years, I still love going to work.
Favorite AMC Memories: Over the past 18 years at AMC, I've had many meaningful moments. Some moments are filled with pure joy and excitement like when a client adopts a new pet or when a pet just lets you hug them. Some moments are filled with great satisfaction like when I am able to help a pet recover from an illness or ease their pain. Some moments are filled with laughter like when I pulled 2 huge wool socks from the stomach of a sedated Great Dane by sticking my hand down his esophagus. And finally, some moments are filled with great sadness like when I say good bye to a cherished friend. Each of these moments -whether happy or sad- have tremendously enriched my life and make it impossible to say which my favorite AMC moment is. I am quite fortunate to have chosen a career that I truly love and has given me so many unforgettable memories.
