A note from Dr. Solomon

unnamed

Dear Clients and Friends,

Regrettably, it’s the end of November and we’re still in the throes of the COVID pandemic.

I’m thrilled to report that my staff still remains COVID-free and 100% COVID vaccinated. This amazing accomplishment is likely due to their conscientious behavior and vigilance to safe-distancing, mask wearing, frequent hand washing activity, and ushered good luck!

I have terrific news to share with you: I hired a new practice administrator, Joshua Hardy. He’s originally from Pepperell, Massachusetts and has over a decade of veterinary management experience. Not only does Joshua have valuable leadership experience, he is fully aligned with what Animal Medical Center of Chicago is all about – a practice genuinely focused on delivering excellent pet care and service in a fear-free environment and treating your pets like family. I am confident that with him on our leadership team, your veterinary experience at our practice will be exceptional. When you visit us, please ask to meet him. If you have any questions or concerns about your pet’s visit, please don’t hesitate to call him at 773.525.3353 or email manager@AMCCHI.com.

We are all truly happy that we now allow clients back into the clinic. We love seeing and talking to you in person! Don’t worry, if you prefer to remain in your car, we still offer curbside service.

When you arrive at the clinic, please call us at 773.525.3353. A Care Coordinator will let you know when it is time for you to enter our practice. Please enter through our front door or let us know if you’d prefer to use our handicap accessible side entrance.

For your safety, only one client and their pet(s) will be in our waiting room at a time. Additionally, we require all individuals entering our practice or interacting with our staff to wear face masks.

Our front porch is now enclosed and heated for the winter. If you’d like to sit on our “toasty warm” porch while you wait for your pet’s appointment, no problem. If you’d like to wait in your car, that’s fine too! At the time of checkin, please let us know what works best for you and your pet.

We all would like to thank you for entrusting us in the care of your furry family members. It is our passion, pleasure and honor to care for them. They make us smile each day.

Wishing you all good health and good times during this holiday season.

Sincerely,

Drs. Donna Solomon, Pam Janik, Tim England, Meg Ogishi, Elaine Simpson and Emily Yacker

and the Staff of AMCOC.
